What is Ooredoo Data Transfer?

Ooredoo’s Data Transfer service allows you to gift data bundles to your friends and family or buy data for friends. You can also use the service to send and buy data bundles for your other smartphones. Surprise friends or loved ones with a data bundle and help them stay in touch.

All customers on the Ooredoo network can access the Data Transfer service.

How to use

  • Through the Ooredoo app.
  • By dialing *222# and following the instructions

A fast, easy and flexible way to transfer data bundles to family and friends.

  • Transfers can be made from postpaid and prepaid lines to all prepaid customers.
  • Transfer fee: 100 Bz, charged from your account balance or added to your monthly bill.
  • A maximum of 5 data transfers are allowed per month.
  • Both the receiver and sender, will be notified via SMS upon using 100% of the transferred data allowance.

How to monitor data usage

As a receiver, you can track how much data you have left in several ways:

  • Via the Ooredoo app.
  • By dialing *555*2*3# for New Shababiah
  • By dialing *555*22*0# For Mousbak & Shababiah.

If you received a data gift with multiple data bundles active on your number, the data bundle with the least validity will be used first.

Example: If you have an active 30 day bundle and received a gift of a 1 day plan, the 1 day plan will be used first before the 30 day plan.
