  • Login in to the Ooredoo App and select “manage plan”
  • From the subscription tab select (Add-ons)
  • Choose the pack you prefer to activate
  • Review and accept terms and condition
  • Fill in the OTP code which will be sent to your phone number

FAQ's

To call a number in Oman dial the number with the country code of Oman (e.g. +968 xxxxxxxx). To make a local call in the country you are roaming Dial the country code of the country you are roaming and the number (e.g. +966 xxxxxxxx, if you are roaming in Saudi Arabia). To make an international call from the country you are roaming dial the country code of the country and the number (e.g. +973 xxxxxxxx, if you wish to call Bahrain, when you are roaming in Saudi Arabia).
If you encounter any problems please dial +968 9501 1500. This call will be charged as a normal roaming voice call to Oman. You can also contact us through email at Customer.Service@Ooredoo.om
If you’re a heavy Internet user, we advise you to use the locally provided Wi-Fi Internet service and pay the service provider directly or subscribe to an Ooredoo Passport Bundle of your choice. Always remember to switch off your data roaming on your phone 'settings' and only switch it on once you receive a confirmation message that your Ooredoo Passport bundle is activated. With Ooredoo Passport you can roam worry free as you can keep track of your data roaming usage and avoid Pay-As-You-Go data high prices. Please ensure that your destination is covered by Ooredoo Passport before travelling by clicking here or checkout our app.
You can re-subscribe to the same add-on to get more allowances using our app. The allowances will be available for use once you receive the confirmation message.
Our app gives you visibility on your data allowance and remaining balance in a very convenient way. You will also receive an SMS notification on 80% and 100% consumption of your data bundle.
No, there are no additional charges for 4G roaming. Standard roaming rates per country apply, or you can use Ooredoo Passport allowances, where applicable, with no additional charge for 4G roaming.
Please ensure 4G services and roaming services are active on your number and that 4G data roaming is available in your destination country.
You’ll be charged for calling Oman since the call is rerouted via Oman.
Dial +968 9501 1505. Calls to your Voice Mail are charged as normal roaming voice calls to Oman, and calls diverted to Voice Mail are charged as both an incoming call and a call back to Oman. If you want to avoid these costs and rather benefit from the free Missed Call Notice service while roaming, simply deactivate the divert to Voice Mail, as follows:
  • Dial ##002# and press the OK button (also called CALL or YES button on certain phones). This will deactivate all your diverts.
  • Voice Mail services can be activated again by diverting calls (on Busy, on Unreachable or on Unanswered) to the number +968 95011505
As long as you have directed your calls to another number in Oman the normal local (not roaming) charges will apply.
