How to Activate?

Choose delivery option and pay

1. The New Hala Plans are available to all customers, both new and existing.

2. Existing customers migrating to the New Hala will be allowed to carry over any remaining credit or More Credit allowance.

3. Once on the New Hala, customers will not be able to move back to their previous Prepaid plan.

4. The in-bundle minutes and data allowances provided by the New Hala Plans are for local use only.

5. Customers will be given the option to choose from one-time only to auto-renewable Plans and add-ons.

6. The Endless Social Data allowance will be specific to WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter access. Access to these apps for customers who consume their Social Data allowance and do not have an alternative available data allowance will be optimized to 512Kbps.

7. Each New Hala add-on will have its own lifecycle valid from the date of subscription

8. Customers may purchase multiple add-ons at any given time without limitation unless stated otherwise.

9. Customers will receive 80% and 100% consumption notifications for each of their available allowances. Customers may activate, deactivate, check their balance, upgrade or downgrade plans through the Ooredoo Oman app

You got that right! Whether you’d like to change your Shababiah Plan or track your usage, or even order a new Shababiah SIM altogether, our app has made your experience simpler and more convenient than ever before.
New customers wishing to join the New Shababiah Plans may either place an order for their new SIM through our app or visit an Ooredoo store to get their new SIM for just two Omani Rials.
Seeking more convenience? Why not download our app: www.ooredoo.om/app to place an order for your SIM card and get it delivered directly to your home! Alternatively, you can always visit an Ooredoo store near you to get your hands on a New Shababiah SIM.
Easy! Sign out of the Ooredoo Oman app and make sure you update it from your Play or App store. Go back to the app and click the ‘Get The New Hala button. Click the ‘I would like to keep my number’ button. Insert your existing Prepaid Ooredoo number and login using your current login credentials. That’s it!
Upgrading to the new Hala Plans as an existing Ooredoo customer is absolutely free!
We’re keeping it simple and flexible by offering you the New Hala Plans as a Prepaid service.
Once on the New Hala, believe us, you won’t want to move back to our old Prepaid bundles.
