Ooredoo Oman has scooped top honours as a Gold winner for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year – in the Middle East and Africa at the 17th Annual International Business Awards, also known as ‘the Stevies’. Ooredoo’s commitment to the people of the Sultanate is lived out through its CSR programme, Ooredoo Goodwill. The program focuses on supporting all areas of social development, education and the environment while promoting the sustainable progress of communities across the country.

Led by Head of CSR, Ayesha Al Shoily, the team has won several awards for their progressive and entrepreneurial projects, all undertaken and developed with current issues in mind. Most recently, this has included donating medical test supplies to health services, as part of the country’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Remaining a mainstay of Ooredoo’s promise to enrich people’s lives, Ooredoo Goodwill continues to translate its value of ‘caring’ into reality.
