Aiming to help young Omanis reach their full potential, Ooredoo has started new waves of its renowned entrepreneurial training programmes; Spring Forward and Springboard, catering to 165 young Omanis. The new wave is part of a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ooredoo, Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.

In its 7th round, and in cooperation with the National University of Science and Technology, Spring Forward welcomed both male and female participants from various government departments in the Wilayat of Samail, aiming to enhance their professional and personal development through a variety of skill-building workshops. Meanwhile, Springboard welcomed its 21st batch of women in Bahla, Izki, Al Khaboura and Salalah. Organised in collaboration with the Omani Women's Association and Omani Bahja Orphan Society, the programme consists of a 3 – 4 months training course that focuses on training and educating women to create a positive and sustainable impact on future generations, while enabling them to participate in building Oman’s economic future.

Among Ooredoo’s longest-running corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, Spring Forward and Springboard are part of the company’s commitment to young, local talent; equipping them with the necessary skills to contribute to Oman’s socio-economic development and become future business leaders and owners. As an integral part of the community, Ooredoo continues to play a leading role in enhancing the skills and experiences of the next generation, and encouraging them to play an active and valuable role in society.
