Committed to taking part in industry events to exchange knowledge and support research and innovation, Ooredoo was proud to participate in, and be the Telecom Partner for, the International Conference on Innovative Engineering Sciences & Technological Research (ICIESTR 2024). Dedicated to the latest advances and trends in engineering and technology, ICIESTR 2024 was the first IEEE international conference organised by the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Oman.
IEEE stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the world’s largest technical professional organisation dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. As such, ICIESTR 2024 brought together practitioners in engineering and technology from industry, academia, and the government, providing them with a platform to share their insights and experience. Topics included emerging technologies, sustainable engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energy, data science, and the Internet of Things.
