Under the patronage of His Excellency Khalid Al Muslahi

Muscat, Oman

Committed to making a real difference by upgrading the lives of others in several ways, Ooredoo supported a Charity Bazaar held under the auspices of His Excellency Khalid Al Muslahi, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event served as a fundraiser for humanitarian relief, as well as providing vendors, including women from Ooredoo’s incubators, an opportunity to sell their crafts and other products to the public.

The Charity Bazaar was held in collaboration with various charitable organisations at the Diplomatic Club. Ooredoo’s women’s incubators sold silver jewelry, bukhoor, dates, fishery products, soap, traditional clothes, handicrafts, makeup products, and Omani spices.

The support of the Charity Bazaar was part of the ‘Ooredoo Goodwill’ programme, which covers a wide range of CSR activities and initiatives, enabling Ooredoo to make a real difference in the communities it serves and beyond. Thousands of Omani women have benefitted from Ooredoo’s incubators so far. These learning hubs support them in developing skills and setting up businesses in information technology, beauty, cooking, sewing, and handicrafts. Through such initiatives, Ooredoo is a catalyst for building a supportive ecosystem and empowering women with skills, visibility, and a network.
