Ooredoo has introduced its newest artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, ‘Saeeda’. A female version of its original chatbot, Saeed, customers can now choose their preferred persona when accessing the intuitive platform. The friendly Omani lady, who ‘speaks’ with an Omani dialect, is designed to simulate human behaviour and conversation and responds to written enquiries, communicating in both English and Arabic – just like Saeed. Available to answer queries instantly, around the clock, Saeeda and Saeed are another way Ooredoo is helping people enjoy the internet.

With an ever-growing list of abilities and services, the helpful chatbots are able to identify customer type, whether mobile or fixed, prepaid or postpaid, during the chat, and offer relevant account-related services including mini bills, barring status, new SIM, PUK, bill copies, call and usage history, roaming bundle availability, active plans, and postpaid balance usage.
