Nawras, the Sultanate’s customer friendly communications provider, held an event this morning in Bahla during a scheduled visit to the Al Wafa Voluntary Association. Sheikh Badir bin Nasser Al-Farsi, Assistant Wali of Badir and Nawras CEO, Ross Cormack ceremoniously started to dig the foundations of a new storage warehouse for the Association. All the building work, manpower and materials are being funded by Nawras. The rest of the Goodwill Team joined forces with the labourers working there, to make a significant start on the base of the structure. Nawras team members also began installing the computers they had donated for the Association. After some poetry recitations, beautiful singing and competitions for the young ones, the Goodwill team gave toys and gifts to the delighted children present.
On arrival, Director Moza Rashid Al-Hathalea welcomed Nawras warmly and gave the team members a short introduction to the centre, explaining the objectives they hope to achieve in the future and the programmes currently being run there. She said, “I am so appreciative and grateful to Nawras for all the help we have received today.”
Sheikh Badir bin Nasser Al-Farsi commented, “I was happy to take part in this occasion today, to lend my personal backing to the Goodwill Journey, and show my corroboration of these humanitarian actions by Nawras.”
