Salem bin Aufeit Al Shanfari, chairman of Dhofar Municipality flagged off the Second Nawras Goodwill Journey today from the Nawras Store in the southern coastal city of Salalah.
The flagging off ceremony was held in the presence of top officials of Nawras, including Ross Cormack, CEO; Khalid Al Mahmood, COO; and Abdullah Al Rawahi, Chief Technical Adviser.
The first stop for the Goodwill convoy will be the Women's Association in Sadah which is a two-hour drive away from Salalah. The team will distribute some needy items to the association.
This second edition of the Goodwill Journey incidentally begins from where it ended last year in Salalah.
