Goodwill Journey 10

This 10th annual Oordoo Goodwill Journey commences on Sunday 6 July, when 36 volunteers travel countrywide to distribute donations and other items to over a large number of Omani families and Associations. This year, the Journey will be covered extensively online under the theme of ‘Digital and Family to connect communities in a digital world. Everyone across Oman will be able to follow the Goodwill Journey in real-time as they visit the communities. In addition, live Tweets, Facebook uploads and YouTube videos will share the experience with people countrywide. The Oordoo website will also be tracking the Journey and volunteers live by GPS.

For the last ten years, the Oordoo Goodwill Journey has been a flagship community initiative that is unique to Oordoo. This year we will be visiting branches of the Omani Women’s Association as well as centres that care for the disabled and children in need. Oordoo Goodwill messengers will be spreading happiness to local families and children by providing them with items to help them with their daily lives, have a positive impact and give much needed assistance.
